The State of Colorado Regulation 8, Part B, requires asbestos testing when renovation or demolition projects involve disturbing suspect materials. Suspect materials include drywall, roofing materials, flooring materials and more. State certified inspectors perform asbestos testing under Crystal River Environmental Consulting LLC. Any testing and reports generated by their entity meet the regulations from the State of Colorado.
Crystal River Environmental Consulting LLC works in accordance with IICRC S 500 Standards for water mitigation and restoration. Crystal River's inspectors are certified in water restoration through IICRC. Inspectors use moisture detecting meters, thermal cameras, and bore scopes to help identify if there is a water intrusion in your home, and if so, what the source of the intrusion is.
Crystal River Environmental Consulting LLC works in accordance with IICRC S 520 Standards for mold remediation. Crystal River's inspectors are certified in mold remediation through the IICRC. Crystal River's inspectors work to identify active mold growth within your home and the source of the growth. Upon request, a swab or bulk samples can be taken of any suspect growth found to help identify the species of mold which can help identify if the mold is the source of adverse health affects.
In the event of a fuel or oil spill, soil samples are collected by Crystal River Environmental Consulting and sent into a laboratory for analysis to determine the type of contaminate in the soil, and the levels of contamination in parts per million. After impacted soil has been removed, additional samples are taken from the bottom of the dig site and sent to the lab to assure contaminates have been completely removed or meet State of Colorado requirements before backfilling takes place.
In 1978, the United States banned the use of paint containing more than 0.06% of lead. 24% of buildings and homes built before 1978 still contain lead-based paint. Crystal River Environmental Consulting LLC is a certified firm through the EPA to perform lead testing. Testing can be performed on site and will produce results within an hour.
